Meet Embrace Physiotherapist Chloe Ng

Chloe Ng

Senior Musculoskeletal & Women’s Health Physiotherapist

Chloe’s academic journey began at Trinity College Dublin, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy. Her professional path unfolded at CGH, where over three impactful years, she garnered knowledge across neurology, orthopaedics, and musculoskeletal disciplines. Passionate about addressing the underlying causes of pain rather than merely treating symptoms, Chloe advocates in cultivating positive habits and mastering body mechanics for sustainable pain management.

Seeking growth, Chloe transitioned to a private clinic, honing her skills in treating sports injuries particular to tennis, managing scoliosis, and alleviating chronic musculoskeletal pain. Collaborations with gynecologists presented her with cases of pelvic floor dysfunction, coccydynia, and common pregnancy-related issues such as sciatica, lower back, and pelvic pain. Intrigued by this new domain, she pursued knowledge vigorously, eventually integrating Polestar Pilates into her repertoire, specifically tailored for prenatal and postnatal care. Having embraced motherhood, Chloe’s own journey has deepened her commitment to women’s health. She champions hypnobirthing, empowering mothers to realise their envisioned birth experience.

Today, Chloe is steadfast in her role as a women’s health physiotherapist, committed to enhancing women’s well-being throughout pregnancy and beyond, and courageously addressing intimate health concerns often shrouded in silence.

Best thing about being a physio?
It’s those lightbulb moments when a patient realises they can move without pain after thinking it wasn’t possible. It’s casual chats about weekend plans while I guide someone through their exercises, and it’s the professional satisfaction when they reach their goals because of my help. Every day, I’m part of someone’s journey to feeling stronger and better, and that’s pretty amazing.

I had a pleasant experience with the team at Embrace. The receptionist Su is very warm and always ready to help! My therapist was Brenda. I went due to pregnancy pains and post partum diastasis recti. Throughout my pregnancy and DR recovery, she recommends tailored exercises and ensures any difficulty that I had are always addressed. She also prepared me for my birth experience and not forgetting the tension releases that felt so good! It was my first time engaging a physiotherapist and it’s worth it. I’ve learnt a lot and I’m more confident of doing the exercises at home now that I’ve been “discharged”

I had a great experience at Embrace physiotherapy with Dr Preet. I started my journey the last trimester of my pregnancy to assess my pelvic floor strength and relaxation level. Dr Preet helped me go through until the end of my pregnancy with exercise plan for the pelvic floor, my hips and quads. My delivery went very smoothly and I am lucky to not have tear or abs separation. I went back after delivery to strengthen back my pelvic floor and got discharge with the chance to fully get back to my usual sport practice. Dr Preet has been wonderful. She listens to your needs carefully and take the time to evaluate your body range of movement. It was also nice to feel understood and share experience as a new mother.
