As the saying goes, once postnatal, always postnatal…No matter where you are at in your journey this class is ideal for women that need more of a challenge to meet the daily demands of motherhood by incorporating a combination of weights, kettlebells, TRX, reformer or mat based Pilates.

This class aims at challenging your core muscles and promoting awareness of your pelvic floor, getting them ready for more complex movements and returning to impact such as HIIT or running. Exercises are designed to build specific strength and control for running/impact, to help prevent injuries and improve your performance for mummies who would like more of a challenge!

My experience with embrace from start to finish was nothing short of professional, warm and understanding. After my third pregnancy, I had lots of dull, heavy tugging pain low in my abdomen. I had also been suffering for years with urinary hesitancy. Went to so many different doctors and specialists to find out what was causing it, with no luck. It was only when I chanced upon embrace’s blog did I get some insight (or even awareness at all) into women’s pelvic health. I wrote in to enquire, and my worries were met with assurance and suggestions, at no cost. Preet is friendly, approachable and made me feel comfortable throughout what could have been an embarrassing therapy. It was so comforting to finally be heard, understood and not dismissed as “this is normal” the way all the doctors had. No amount of reading up compares to having real time feedback with kegels by a trained professional. 6 months in and I feel a world of difference! If anyone out there feels any less about her body after pregnancy or feels pain or discomfort in any way, or resorted to accepting “this is my new normal”, trust me you’re not alone. If you’re living in the east, I’d recommend embrace physiotherapy. They don’t pressure you to commit to regular sessions at all. No harm giving it a shot!

the work the professionals at this clinic do is so important - often women’s issues are overlooked as part and parcel of pregnancy and childbirth and it’s essential to realise these conditions don’t have to be just tolerated. i visited this clinic for rehabilitation regarding my csection birth and for other bodily issues proceeding from childcare and over the months i was seeing brenda i have not only managed those issues but also gained a better understanding of how my body works and how to help prevent future recurrence of such problems. everyone working at embrace is wonderfully considerate and approachable - they put you at your ease from the very first moment. cannot recommend this clinic enough. thank you so much for looking after me so well!

I had a wonderful experience with Brenda throughout my post partum recovery. She is very friendly and experienced and it definitely shows as she is able to make me feel at ease and comfortable as she navigates me through the exercises and steps to get me back to where I want to be. Appreciate the help and for making it easy especially with motherhood alr being a challenge. Thanks 🙂
